Abhisek Lahiri has risen to prominence as an "A Grade" Sarod Player of All India Radio and National Television. One of the Luminaries of young generation representing the contemporary renaissanse of Indian Classical Music in Bengal. Abhisek has won the hearts of discerning audience worldwide with maturity, depth and perfection.

Abhisek has been initiated in sarod from his early age and trained under the tutelage of his illustrious father Pt Alok Lahiri as well as teacher.

He gave extensive performances in USA, Canada and in different parts of Europe (Germany, France, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Spain etc), Bangladesh, Malaysia and Singapore etc.
