CD of North Indian music – original creation
SHRUTI is an original composition by Karim Amari, accompanied on the tabla by Antoine Bourgeau, in the classical Khayal tradition of North India. This CD is the fruit of Karim Amari’s studies with Indian music master Ustad Usman Khan. The word shruti means revelation in the philosophical sense of the word but also ‘microtone’.
